Chapter 1- Are You Ready For Rapture?

I have heard of a great man with an inventive maind who in an effort to fly by himself emulated birds by eating insects; he did not suceed in the least; yet by God's Divine Grace man did fly; though not by himself but in machines that he invented. Later on; on gliders too. But not all by himself. Could he ever accomplish that feat?
Imagine soaring upwards at 50 miles or 100 miles or 1000 miles per hour. Superman and likes can fly in books and movies. I'm not talking of them. What force can accomplish the unattainable?
The answer is an emphatic "yes" and it is going to happen very soon.
The Bible says in Luke 18:27 " The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Also in Luke 1:37 we read, "For with God nothing shall be impossible".
And that force that makes impossible things happen, will make this happen too. Men, women and children soaring towards the skies at God knows what speed to meet their Saviour. Their saviour whom they have been waiting to meet for so long. Tears of joy running down their cheeks.
"Unusual flight"
"Never known joy"
Travel to a King & kingdom that would be theirs forever.
This then will be "RAPTURE"
That which we read about, talk about and wonder about.
"Rapture" means joy. It also means transport. Here is an event where there is joy as well as transport. So shall it be as the Lord has decided.
Friend, have you booked your ticket?
Are you sealed with the Holy Spirit?
For none without Him can fly at that moment.
2 Corinthians 5:5 says "Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit."
The Holy Spirit is the only guarantee.
And who will be there to receive and welcome you; to take you to the Father and His Glory?
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 says."For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lod in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
He (Lord Jesus Christ) will come down to receive all who have been faithful to Him.
Why will He receive the faithful? Because God the Father has given Him the authority. Why has God given him the authority?Because he(Jesus Christ) abided by His (God's) will, came down to earth in flesh, took all the sins of humanity on Himself and gave Himself up as a sacrifice on the cross at Calvary. Then by the Father's will he ascended to heaven after he was buried and sits now at the right hand of God.
"Are you sure you are ready to go with Him if He comes today?"
"Are you born again?"
"Are you saved?"
Have you taken Christ in your heart?
Is he your personal Saviour?
Friend, there are only 2 categories of people in the sight of Christ.
Not Black/White, Not Jew/Gentile, Not Indian/Pakistani, Not Russian/American, Only LOST and SAVED. That is All. Nothing less. Nothing more.
We are all born in sin. Nothing can change that status of ours other than Jesus Christ. He died for our sins on the cross. Not for some sins, but all our sins, ALL! that's the key word.
1 John 2:2 we read " And he is the propitation for our sins; and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
It never matters to Him in terms of how great your sins are, if your are ready to accept Him. Murderer / Adulterer / Liar / Fornicator / Thief / Sorcerer. It does not matter to Him if you are ready to accept Him.

AS SOON AS YOU BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS & YOU ASK FORGIVENESS FROM GOD WITH A CONTRITE HEART, HE CLEANSES YOU FROM ALL YOUR SINS; ALL THE FILTH THAT YOU ACCUMULATED IN & AFTER YOUR BIRTH.
In 1 John 1:9 we read, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrightousness."
ALL sins, ALL unrighteousness are cleansed.
You are a new being then.
A new soul.
You are washed. Washed in the blood of the lamb. i.e. Jesus Christ. You are a believer then.
In Ephesians 2: 8,9 we read,
"For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." These are very important verses.
No man is saved by his work on earth. However good/generous you are, unless you are saved by grace through faith it does not count. But once you are saved by grace through faith, your deeds sustaining your faith count a lot for they receive rewards ultimately. There is no judgement for your old sinful life once you are born again; once you are a bliever, once you have been washed by the blood of Christ. You don't even have to think of how you were. You have to build on your foundation now. The foundation that you've laid in your heart - JESUS CHRIST.
And when you are born again, you are born of water and the spirit.
Jesus says in John 3:5, "Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdon of God."
Jesus said, you are born again "of water;" Water which is the "Word of God" as we read in Ephesians 5:26. "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word." The (it) here is the Church.
If we read Luke 23:40-43 we understand that the thief on the cross ,crucified next to Jesus, believed that Christ was truly the Saviour and immediately Christ accepted him.
That's what is important, confessing that you are truly a sinner and accepting Him as your Saviour; believing in His saving ability.
Once Jesus was resurrected, he placed emphasis on baptism with the Holy Spirit.
If we read Acts 1:5 after Jesus was resurrected he met His disciples and told them. "For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence."
Also he asked his disciples to baptize those who have accepted him as Saviour and His Word in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Mathew 28:19)
Next as Jesus said, "You are born again of the Spirit."
The Spirit is the Holy Spirit, with whom we are sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30)
He is a distinct personality of the triune God (GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON (JESUS) and GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT)
As Jesus told His disciples before He was crucified. In John 14:16 we read, 'And I will pray the father and he shall give you another 'COMFORTER' that he may abide with you forever."
Also in John 14:26 Jesus says "But the COMFORTER, which is the Holy spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, what so ever I have said unto you."
He is the one who teaches us all things once we have accepted Christ as our personal Saviour. And through what does he teach us? Through the WORD OF GOD - THE BIBLE
As the psalmist says, "Thy word is lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)
So once you are born again you do not stagnate in that condition. You read the Word of God. It is a storehouse of knowledge and it has answers to all questions that you may face in your day-to-day life. There is no fixed time to read it. Any time is good time to read the Bible.
Psalm 119:130 says
"The entrance of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple."
Then pray to God. Prayer is talking to God. It is very important. There need not be any fixed; guideliness. "Praise Him; Thank Him; Ask forgiveness for any shortcoming or sin in thought, word or deed, make your supplications known to Him, ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit; His fruits and gifts, thank Him again. Any time is good time for prayer and reading the word of God.
Have you made up your mind my friend? This is the day. Just think of it. Would you prefer to live in a place where there is torment always. Its called "THE LAKE OF FIRE" and its real. There the fire doesn't quench. It burns on and on for eternity; And there is no total death. Torture, torture and only torture.
Or
Would you prefer to live in a New Earth, New Heaven with the holy city Jerusalem in it. Not the present one in Israel; for that will pass away with this earth and heaven.
"Peace, tranquility, satisfaction, health are all that will be there for ever."
No pain! No sickness! No worries!
Never! Never! Never!
All this is real my friend. A person of the new testament age, who has not accepted Jesus Christ as his or her personal Saviour will not able to spend eternity with God.
Remember, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
You may be a great leader, a great inventor, a great business man, a great engineer, a great doctor, but unless you have Christ in you, you are LOST & that is a fact.
"Rapture" i.e. the catching up of born again believers with the Saviour in midair can occur any time now. World events are moving at a rapid rate. Most Bible prophesies (this side of Rapture) have been fulfilled. There are a few that are yet unfulfilled, they may be being fulfilled now as I write this.
The Saviour Jesus may come today. Are you ready to meet Him? Be sure you are not left behind to suffer a very trying period in your life and in the history of the whole world. It's called "The Tribulation" and its coming soon beginning just after Rapture.
The question is "ARE YOU SAVED"? If not call upon the Lord today and he will answer you. As Jesus says in Mathew 4:17 "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Events during "The Rapture" can be summarized as follows:

a)Lord Jesus coming down from heaven with

1)a loud command
2)a voice of an archangel
3)the trumpet call of God.

b)Dead in Christ rise first and fly towards the clouds.
c)Born again believers who are alive fly towards the clouds.
d)Arisen dead in Christ and alive born again believers meet Christ in the clouds and be with Him forever.

As Paul writes to the Thessalonians.
"Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:18)

"AWAKE THOU THAT SLEEPEST, AND ARISE FROM THE DEAD AND CHRIST SHALL GIVE THEE LIGHT." (Ephesians 5:14)

Chapter 2- The Antichrist

Have you heard of "The Assyrian" or "The King of the North" or "The Little Horn" or "The rider with a bow on a white horse"?
These are a few of the many titles given in the Bible to a man called "The Antichrist" - The Ultimate Dictator - fierce, cruel and meciless. He is the "Man of sin" who is to rule the world during a period of 7yrs - (The tribulation) after the "Rapture". He is probably now in the World; plotting, manipulating things. He is the right hand man of Satan.
Antichrist basically means anyone against Christ.
If we read 1 John 2:18 it says, " Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard the antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
Also in 1 John 2:2 we read, " Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
Again in 1 John 4:3 we read, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come: and even now already is it in the world."
In 2 John 7 we read " For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh,. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
From the above passage we infer that many antichrists have alread come - liars, who have denied that Jesus us the Christ. And the spirit of the antichrist. i.e. Satan or the Devil is already in the world.
But 2 Thessalonians 2 speaks of a specific antichrist or "The man of sin".In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 we read, "Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition:
So the day of the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ will not occur until "The man of sin or "The antichrist" or "The son of perdition" is revealed. But why is the Antichrist not revealed yet? Simply because the Church is still functioning spreading the Gospel and the born again believers are still not raptured.
In 2 Thessalonians 2: 6,7 we read, "And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work, only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way":
Unless "Rapture" takes place the Antichrist will not come on the scene. He may be out there somewhere; scheming things. Once Rapture occurs and the world is in utter chaos concerning the disappearance of millions of born again persons; at that moment "he will make his grand entry" providing a peaceful solution to the crisis.
This crisis will be great, because when millions of believers disappear, accidents will occur all over the world involving cars, trucks, buses, planes and ships as their drivers, pilots and navigators would be missing suddenly.
As we read in Revelation 6:2 "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow: and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering and to conquer."
He comes on a white horse. i.e. proclaiming peace and though he is out to conquer he has only a bow but no arrows.

In Daniel 9:27 we read, "And he shall confirm the convenant with many for one week…
This "one week" here refers to the 7 year convenant that "the Antichrist" will establish with many nations.

In Isaiah 10:27 we read "And it shall come to pass in that day his burden shall be taken away from of they shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. This means that "The Messiah" at His 2nd coming will destroy the Antichrist who persecutes Israel.
From Isaiah 10:28-33 we understand that "the Antichrist" will conquer many places with great armies and that he will stay a city called Nob which is north of Jerusalem while he is waiting to capture it.
In Daniel 7:8 we read about the "little horn" in which there were eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth speaking great things. This "little horn" agains refers to the Antichrist.
Let's see where the "little horn" comes from!
In the same chapter we read about the four great beasts that come up from the sea (Daniel 7:3-7) namely beasts like a lion, a bear, a leopard and unnamed dreadful one. These refer to the Babylonian empire headed by King Nebuchadnezzar; the Medopersian Empire with Cyms the Persian, Darias the Mede and others ruling; the Grecian empire founded by Alexander the Great and the old Roman empire.
In Daniel 7:7,8 we read about "the little horn" coming out of the 10 hours. i.e. 10 Kingdoms of (the Roman empire to be) the end days. And he (the little horn or Antichrist) will pluck up or capture three of the 10 kingdoms and the remaining will submit to him without resistance.
Daniel 8:3-5 speaks of ram with 2 horns and a goat with a horn between his eyes. Horns in almost all contexts here refer to kings of kindoms. The ram with 2 horns being the kings of Media and Persia and the goat being the Grecian empire with King Alexander as the horn between the eyes.
Daniel 8:8 says,
"Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
The 4 horns that come out of the broken great horn are the 4 kingdoms formed out of the Grecian empire. Today they are known as Greece, Syrian, Egypt and Turkey.

In Daniel 8:9 we read,
And out of one of them came forth a little horn which waxed exceeding great……
So the Antichrist will come from one of the above countries.

In Daniel 9:2 we read,
"In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish Seventy Years in the desolations of Jesusalem."
The 70 Years mentioned here has relevance when we read of the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24.
The phrase 70 weeks literally mean 70 sevens (Hebreq for week is shabua, seven)
Daniel 9:27 says
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; ….."
Here we see the Antichrist making or providing a peace treaty for 1 week,1 seven.
Keeping this in mind we read Daniel 7:25 where the Bible says,
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out of the Saints of the most High and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
Here the Bible speaks about the Antichrist warring with God's saints and that they will be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.i.e for 3 ½ years.
In Revelation 13:5,7 we read about the same thing.
"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months."
"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them………"
If he (the Antichrist) is to continue of 42 months (3 Yrs) and he makes a peace treaty of one week or one seven. Surely it is 7 years that the Bible speaks of and not 1 week.

.
In Revelation 13:11 we read of the beast coming up out of the earth. This is the false prophet who will be the religious leader of the Antichrist and he performs great miracles and brings more and more people to worship and accept the Antichrist, even bidding them make an image of the beast and worship it.
The Antichrist will force upon all people to take his mark, either on their right hand or their foreheads. ''and he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads; And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."(Revelation 13:16-18)

Alphabets of Greek and Hebrew system represent certain numbers. The total of these numbers in the Antichrist's name will be 666. Those who do not take the mark of the beast on their bodies will be killed by the Antiochrist and his armies.

What happens to the "little horn" or "the Antichrist" finally?

Revelation 19 speaks in detail of the fate of the Antichrist. In Revelation 19:11 we read about Christ seated on a white horse coming with His heavenly armies to judge and make war against the Antichrist and his armies. In Revelation 19:19, we read about the Antichrist and his armies gathered together to make war with the one on the white horse (Christ) and His army.

In Revelation 16:13 we read,
"And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the Kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue "Armageddon"
Here we see 3 demonic spirits working miracles and wooing men to worship the Antichrist and be his followers and join his armies. These verses also imply that the devilish spirits will gather all the armies of Antichrist fo fight Jesus and the place where the battle of the great day of God Almighty will take place is "Armageddon".
This battle will last only for 1 day as we read in Zechariah 14 and it will be a day where the light will be faint all througout.
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which sahll be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light." (Zechariah 14:6,7)
2 Thessalonians 2:8 also speaks about the destruction of the Antichrist.
"And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming."
The final destiny of the Antichrist and the false prophet is clearly outlined in Revelation 19:20
"And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both are cast alive into a lake of fire, burning with brimstone.'
Terrible times are ahead dear friend, Living during the reign of the Antichrist is asking for trouble.
Either you accept his mark or if caught by his armies be killed by behading. Rev. 20:4 says that those not accepting the mark of the beast or worshipping it will be beheaded ruthlessly.
Also the tribulation is a period when God pours forth his wrath on mankind. Wars, pestilences, famines, plagues are all going to happen during that period.
Why wait for that trial? Be prepared to meet the Lord in the air during Rapture and be with Him forever.
Cry our to God today. "O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help."
(Psalm 71:12)

Chapter 3- The Tribulation

This is the 7yr. Period following "Rapture" during which the Antichrist rules the world. The first 31/2 yr period is of "lesser tribulation" The latter 31/2 yr period is of "great tribulation."
The Bible speaks at length about the "Tribulation" in Revelation, Matthew and other books. It is a period of great distress. Born again believers escape this holocaust as they would have been caught up with Christ during Rapture. People can still be saved during the Tribulation but it will be very difficult because going against the Antichrist would means death.
Rev. 6 and the chapters after that give a detailed picture of things occur during the tribulation. In Revelation 5:7 and 6:1 we read about the Lamb of Jesus Christ taking the book out of the right hand of God and breaking the seven seals.
When he opens the 1st seal, the tribulation drama upholds with the rise of the Antichrist, right after the "Rapture".He is the rider on a white horse (Revelation 6:2)
When He opens the 2nd seal there comes forth another horse that is red. (Revelation 6:4) This means "wars" Many thousands will die in these wars.
When he opens the 3rd seal there comes forth a black horse. Verse 5&6 of Revelation 6 speak really about, "famines" that will strike the whole world after the wars.
When Christ opens the 4th seal, John sees a pale horse and its rider is "Death", and "Hell" follows him. Verse 8 of Revelation 6 again speaks of famines and pestilences, or murders and killing by beasts.
Revelation 6:9,10,11 say,
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the sould of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given to them and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled."
Here we read of the souls that have been martyred for Christ in the first 3 1/2 yrs of the tribulation crying to God for justice to be done to them and they are told to rest for a while till the martyrs of the great tribulation. i.e. last 3 1/2 yrs. too are gathered.
When the Lamb opens the 6th seal (Revelation 6:12) many things happen:
An earthquake, the sun is darkened, the moon is affected, the stars fall, many people understand that the wrath of the Lord has come and they try to hide from Him and His wrath.
In Revelation 7 we read of an angel of God having the seal of the living God, sealing 1,44,000 Jews; 12,000 each from all the tribes of the children of Israel (Revelation 7:2,4). They are protected from calamities during the ealry tribulation by God and are saved during the first 3 1/2 yrs. These 1,44,000 are raptured alive at the middle of the 7yr. Tribulation period and are in heaven after that. (Revelation 12:5 & Rev. 14)
Also in Revelation 7: 9-17 we read about all the tribulation saints (all who have been matryred for Christ during the tribulation) standing before the throne and before the Lamb. v. 15,16,17 speak of their future. "Therefore are they before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwelll among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
In Revelation 8:1 we read,
"And when he had opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven about the spece of half an hour."
Why there was silence is not said; possibly the preparation of the 7 trumpets.
In Revelation 8 we read about the 7 angels standing before God and they are given 7 trumpets (Revelation 8:2)
In Revelation 8:3-5 we read of another angel having a golden censer and filling it with fire and throwing it on the earth and there was thunder, lightning and an earthquake. All these also result in death of many.
When the 7 trumpets are blown, great catastrophies occur.
When the 1st angel sounded, as is recorded in Revelation 8:7, hail & fire mingled with blood is cast upon the earth and a third part of trees and all green grass is burnt up.
When the 2nd trumpet is sounded a great burning mountain is thrown into the sea and a third part of sea creatures and ships are destroyed. (Revelation 8:8,9)
When the 3rd trumpet is sounded, a burning star called wormwood falls on 1/3 rd of the rivers and foundations of water and poison them and many die because of drinking these waters (Revelation 8:10,11)
When the 4th trumpert is sounded, 1/3 rd parts of the sun, moon and stars are struck so 1/3 of the day and night have no light as those parts affected are darkened (Revelation 8:12)
The 5th trumpet also brings judgement on the remaining inhabitants of the earth for when the 5th angel sounded, an angel. i. e. the star of Revelation 9:1 opens the bottomless pit from which locusts come upon the earth.
These are not ordinary locusts but creatures that will look exactly as described in Revelation 9:7-10
-shaped as horses
-crowns of gold on their heads
-face like men
-hair as of women
-teeth as of lions
-breasplates of iron
-with wings
-tails like scorpions
which sting
They are told to torment and hurt but not to kill, for 5 months.
Also they are commanded not to hurt grass or trees or any green thing and not to touch any person with the seal of the living God. These locusts have a King over them called "Apollyon" or "Abaddon" who is the angel of the bottomless pit.
When the 6th trumpet is sounded, a voice from the golden altar which is before God tells
the 6th angel to loose 4 fallen angels who are bound in the river Euphrates. Each loosed angel will be the leader of 50,000,000 horsemen and they are seated on horses which have their heads like lions and they kill 1/3rd of the people left on earth with fire, with smoke and with brimstone that come out of their mouths. (Revelation 9:13-19)
Revelation 11 speaks of 2 witnesses sent by God to prophesy to the Jews for 1260 days. If any one tries to hurt them during the days of their prophesy, fire comes out of their mouths and devours their enemies. God gives them unique powers during those days.
The identity of one of these witness is revealed clearly in Malachi 4:5. Here it says "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."
The other one most probably would be Enoch, for he is the only other human in the Bible to be translated without death before the Rapture.
After 1260 days these 2 witnesses are killed and all the unbelievers rejoice for 31/2 days, then the spirit of life from God enters them wnd they become alive and are taken upto heaven in a cloud.
When the 7th angel sounded, many events occurred.
The 24 elders fell on their faces and worshipped God;the temple of God was opened in heaven and the ark of the testament was seen and lightning, thunder, an earthquake and a hailstorm occurred (Revelation 11:19); there was war in heaven and Michael and his angels fought against satan and his angels and satan was cast out in to the earth. (Revelation 12:7-9)
Then in Revelation 15, we see the grand finale of God's fury being readied; the 7 angels having the 7 last pagues. (Revelation 15:1)
In Revelation 16, each of the angels pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. When the 1st angel poured out his vial, all of Antichrist's worshippers were inflicted with grevious sores (Revelation 16:2)
Then the 2nd angel poured his vial on the rivers and fountains of water and they became blood. (Revelation 16:4)
The 4th angel poured his vial on the sun and the sun scorched men with fire (Revelation 16:8)
The 5th angel poured his vial on the Kingdom of the Antichrist and there was total darkness(Revelation 16:10)
The 6th angel poured his vial on the Euphrates and the water of the Euphrates dried up. (Revelation 16:12)
The 7th angel poured his vial into the air and there were thunders, lightning and the greatest earthquake that has ever occurred; and there was a great hail from heaven, every stone weighing more than 100 pounds and men blasphemed God because of the plague of hail. (Revelation 16:17-21)
The events of the 7th vial continues with the destruction of literal Babylon culminating with the 2nd coming of Christ and the battle at Armageddon; Jesus Christ destroying Antichrist and his armies and setting up the millennial Kingdom i.e. the 1000 year reign of Christ of earth.
Just think of it dear friend! Would you prefer to ascend with Christ during Rapture and be in heaven forever or subject yourself to the trying times during the tribulation. Wars; famines, persecution, earthquakes, hailstorms, pestiIences and many more catastrophies are soon coming upon our world.
How often we are troubled by little sicknessess and we despair. Think of the cruel realities that you have just read. During the famines for want of food people will eat their own flesh and even kill others for food and water. If you are wise you would give yourself to Christ and ascend with Him during Rapture.
Break your rock like heart today. A broken spirit is what Jesus appreciates. That's why he says "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for their's is the kingdon of heaven." (Mathew 5:3)
If you are unsaved, consider His call today. You'll never regret it.
"The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. (Psalm 147:11)
"Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness. (Psalm 95:8)

Chapter 4- The Second Coming

Now-a-days we hear a lot of people talk of the 2nd coming of Christ. Its almost 2000 yrs. now since our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and was resurercted. Revelation 22:7, 12, 20 all trestify to His sure return.
In all these verses it says,
"….Behold I come quickly………."
But when will He come ?
For the right answer we have to turn to the Scriptures again.
Mathew 24:29, 30 says,
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.'
This implies that he will come immediately after the tribulation.
Mark 13:24-26 speaks of the same event.
And if we read the 2nd Epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians he tells them that "the day of the 2nd coming" will not occur before the Antichrist is revealed and he opposes God and sits in the temple of God proclaiming himself as God. (2 Thessalonians 2:3,4)
"Rapture" and the "Second coming"are 2 distinct events sepearted by a gap of 7 yrs. During "Rapture" Christ comes amidst clouds in mid-air and not to the earth while at the second coming he comes to the earth.
And how is he coming?
"with brightness" (2Thessalonians 2:8)
"seated on a white horse" (Revelation 19:11)
"with his holy angels" (Mathew 25:31)
"in the clouds of heaven" (Mathew 24:30)
"with power and great glory" (Mathew 24:30)
"as the lightning" (Luke 17:24)
"with ten thousands of His saints" (Jude 14)

Now why is He coming?
"In righteousness to judge and make war" (Revelation 19:11)
"To smite the nations who have rebelled against Him" (Revelation 19:15)
"To smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem"(Zechariah 14:12)
"To destroy the Antichrist, the False Prophet and his armies" (2 Thessalonians 2:8, Revelation 19:20)
"To gather His elect" (Mathew 24:31)
"To be king over all the earth"(Zechariah 14:9)
"To reign on earth for a thousand years with His Saints" (Revelation 20:4,6)

The facts now are plain and simple;

a.He will surely come,
b.After the tribulation
c.In the clouds of heaven with his saints and angels seated on a white horse with great power and glory,
d.To destroy the Antichrist and his armies at Armageddon,
e.To reign on earth for a thousand years with His saints.
.
On what day or at what time after the tribulation no one knows except God.
Scripture is very clear in stating this fact that no one except God knows the exact day & time of the 2nd coming of Christ. All Speculation is useless.
Mathew 24:42 says,
"Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your lord doth come."
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only" (Mathew 24:36)
"Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning." (Mark 13:35)
"And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power." (Acts 1:7)
So what is Jesus command to us in our present day?
In Luke 21:36 he says, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the son of man."

So are you ready to escape? Are you worthy "to escape" and stand before Him? How can you be worthy "to escape"? The solution is very simple.
In John 5:24 Jesus says "Verily, Verily I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life."
In John 4:10 Jesus says that if any one asks of Him "living water", He would surely give it and in v. 14 he says, "Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst."
Dear friend, are you dead in your sins? Are you perishing in your iniquities? Come drink the living water today! Jesus gives this opportunity to all of us. This is your chance. Grab it. You will never regret it.
"Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 124:8)
"He that is our God is the God of salvation ……….." (Psalm 68:20)

Chapter 5- The Millennium

The Bible talks of this period very clearly in Revelation 20. It is a 1000 year period after the 2nd coming of Christ to earth.
It starts after the Antichrist, the False prophet and their armies have been destroyed. Also the devil or satan has been bound by an angel from heaven with a great chain and thrown into the bottomless pit and set a seal upon him that he be there for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:1,2,3)
He will no longer have the power to deceive the nations until after the 1000 years when he will be loosed out of the pit for a short while. (Revelation 20:7)
Satan then will again go out to deceive the nations of the earth and gather together men who dislike Christ's rule (during the Millennium). Then with a very large army Satan surrounds Jerusalem, but fire comes out of heaven devours them all. (Revelation 20:8,9)
Satan is finally cast into the lake of fire where the beast (the Antichrist) and false prophet have already been thrown. There they will be tormented day and night for ever. (Revelation 20:10)
The 1000 yr reign of Christ will be between the 2nd coming and the New Heaven and New Earth.
Daniel 7:14 says, "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting deminion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." This speaks of Christ the king ruling over all nations with glory.
Zechariah 14:9 asserts the same. Here it says, "And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one."
In Ezekiel 34:23 we read, "And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, evern my servant David: he shall feed them, and he shall be their Shepherd."
Thus David will rule as King under Christ (King of Kings) over Israel in those days. Even Hosea 3:5 and Ezekiel 37:24,25 confirms this.
Mathew 19:28 and Luke 22:30 speak of the disciples ruling over the 12 tribes of Israel in the Millennium.
In Luke 22:30, Jesus tells His deiciples, "That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.'
There will be only one universal religion and worship will be to the only one living God. Micah 4:3 also speaks of total peace during the reign of Christ. Isaiah 2:4 speaks of Christ teaching people the way of peace, so no nation will rise against another and no more will anyone learn to fight and war.
Isaiah 65: 20-22 gives some excellent insight into the day-to-day living in the Millennium. "There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them."
So if one doesn't sin or rebel against Christ during His regin, he or she can live for 200, 500 or more years. A person who completes 100 years is compared to a child of now. Men and women will live and be as aged as trees. (Isaiah 65:22) Death at a younger age will still be a reality in the Millennium for those rebelling against Christ.
Prayer life continues and immediate answers to prayers is another reality in the Millennium.
Isaiah 65:25 speaks of how God will transforme animals too in the Millennium. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 11: 6-8 also speaks of the transformation of the wild beasts and reptiles tamed by the Messiah. "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall die down with the kid and the calf and the young lion and fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall fed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like an ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the waned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice den."
The Bible says in Isaiah 30;26, "Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days……." This means that the days then will be 7 times more brighter than now and the nights then as the days now.
But Christ will be the everlasting light during the Millennium.
The sun and moon remain in their places not seen as rising or setting and truly it will be the glory of Christ that gives the light all around. (Isaiah 60:19,20)
Christ will rule with all his saints (old and new testament) for a 1000 years on earth. There will be many people still left on earth at the 2nd coming of Christ who will not have taken the mark of the beast or have escaped from him by the Lord's Grace or be at remote places of the earth far from the Antichrist's center of rule or escaped from the plagues, earth quakes and other perils during the Tribulation. Some of these people (who have been faithful to the Lord) will multiply and inherit all the earth with Christ and his saints as rulers.
A few of these will rebel with satan at the end of the 1000 yr. rule of Christ.
There is a 1000 yr. gap between the 1st and 2nd resurrections. This is clearly mentioned in Revelation20: 4,5. At the end of the 1000 years, the 2nd resurrection takes place. Here we have the Great White Throne Judgement after satan has been cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:10,11)
All the dead (out of Christ), having died rejecting Christ or having died unknowingly stand before God for their final judgements. Here, books are opened, also the book of life and every man is judged according to things written in the books; and who so ever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. This is the 2nd Death. (Revelation 20:12-15)
The 2nd death has no power on the ones resurrected at the 1st resurrection (Revelation 20:6) They live on in eternity.
Friend, what would you like? The choice is your's. Escape during Rapture (as Christ puts it in Luke 21:36) and live on earth with David, Abraham, Moses and the likes under Christ as king for a 1000 years and then live on for eternity in a New Heaven and a New Earth.
Or

Wait for the tribulation and its tragedies. To be a martyr for Christ or to escape all the judgements of God during Tribulation will really require the "Grace of God" to be overflowing in your lives.
Or

Perish once now and perish then again (2nd Death)
Why wait for the Tribulation or why be doomed to lake the fire? "Today is the day of decision. Cry out to God. "Turn us again, O Lord god of hosts, cause they face to shine: and we shall be saved." (Psalm 80: 3,7,19) Then you can say, "The Lord is my defence, and my god is the rock of my refuge" (Psalm 94:22)

Chapter 6- Rewards

Rewards! Surely no man would say no to Rewards ; be they small or great; In 1 Corinthians 3:8 we read "…………and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour."
So if you are in Christ i.e. you have accepted Christ as your personal Saviour there are rewards for you in heaven.
But how do you get rewards? You get rewards in the way that you build on the foundation that is already laid. If we read 1 Corinthiams 3:11-15 we have an insight of future rewards for us in heaven.
Here it says, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath build thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
Now first the foundation is laid in your heart. This foundation is Jesus Christ. And then he watches how you build on this foundation.
How do you build on this foundation? Basically this means how you live in the world after you accept Christ; whether you are totally obedient to Him; whether you live according to the way He says you should; whether you live by the leading of the Holy Spirit!
However your works must justify your faith (for faith without deeds is useless) How you excel in your calling whether it be secular or totally for Christ as a Minister. Everything is revelant and upon all these depend your rewards.
If you stagnate in your spiritual life after being saved, saying, "yes, I am saved, I need not worry anymore, anyway I am going to heaven, why should I bother? These are the people who build on the foundation (Jesus Christ) with wood, hay and stubble.
And what happens finally to their works? When the fire tests it, it is burnt up. SO NO REWARDS; though the person himself/herself will be saved by a very narrow margin (as one escaping through fire). In contrast, if you build with gold, silver or precious stones on the foundation (Jesus Christ) you will receive a reward. In this case the fire will not burn up your works and it will abide,
Roman 14:10 says, "……..for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ." So justify your faith (now that you have accepted Christ) with deeds that would gain you rewards in heaven.
And when are we (believers) to get the rewards? When the Lord comes in all His glory and takes us to heaven at Rapture. Then as the bible says in Luke 14 :14, "And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee; for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just." So after Rapture, in heaven you will receive your rewards.
In 2 Corinthians 5:10 we read "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
Here we see the Judgement seat of Christ and rewards being given Him for things that we do while in the body.
This is not the Great white throne Judgement of God. (Revelation 20:11). That occurs after the Millennium. There the dead (out of Christ) are judged.
So what should be our goal once we accept Christ? In 2 Corinthians 5:9 we read, "Wherefore we labour that whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him." This means that loving God and obeying His commands (however tough they may seem) is very important.
For humanely difficult things that we do on earth for Christ's sake, the rewards are greater. If we read the beatitudes: for suffering for Christ's sake, the reward is great in heaven. (Mathew 5:12) Again, for loving your enemies as we read in Luke 6:35 the reward is great in heaven.
The judgement of the nations involved with Israel in some way of the other prior to the 2nd coming takes place at Christ's 2nd coming on earth. Here the sheep are seperated from the goats. i.e the righteous and the unrigheous are seperated. The righteous are awarded with eternal life with God and the unrighteous go away to eternal punishment. (Mathew 25: 31-46)
This judgement is different from the Great White throne judgement and the judgement of belivers in heaven after Rapture.
Paul, when he writes to the Colossians tells them, 'And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance for ye serve the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23,24)
So work diligently as pleasing the Lord for your reward.
"Cast not therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward" (Hebrews 10:35)

Chapter 7- Eternity

What does the ultimate future hold for the the believer? And what does it hold for the unbeliever?
For the believer in the Triune God, God promises Eternity in the New heaven, New Earth with the holy city Jerusalem in it. (Revelation 21:1,2). God will then live with all who have believed in His name and have been faithful.
The Bible says in Revelation 21:3, "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." There will be joy always; no death, no mourning, no sickness, no pain, nor worries. (Revelation 21:4)
But what about the unbelieving?
The Bible says in Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers, and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death." For eternity they burn in the lake of fire. What a pity that would be! But it is a just judgement of a just God.
Revelation 21 describes the Holy city, the new Jersusalem with all the believers (old Testament Times and our times) as the bride of Christ. (Revelation 19: 7;21:2,9)
"Halleluiah! shouts the great multitude of God's people. " Let us glad and rejoice, and give honour to him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready." (Rev. 19:7)
Revelation 21: 11-21 also describes the beauty and splendour of the New Jerusalem.
-shining with glory of God
-great high wall with 12 gates,
-names of the 12 tribes of Israel written on the gates
-3 gates on each side
-12 gates are 12 pearls; each gate made of a single pearl
-12 angels at the gates
-the wall of the city with 12 foundations
-names of 12 apostles written on the foundations
-12 foundations are decorated with every kind of precious stone - jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, sardius, chrysolite, bery, topaz, chrysoprasus, jacinth, amethyst.
-City is about 1400 miles (about 2200 kms.) long wide and high
-Wall is about 200 feet (about 65 meters) thick
-Wall is made of jasper
-City is of pure gold, as pure as transparent glass
-There's no temple in the city, Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple
-Glory of God gives it light and the lamb is its lamp. Thus there is no need for the sun or moon to shine on it.
-Its gates are always open
-The river of the water of life flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. (Revelation 22:10
-On each side of the river of the water of life stands the tree of life bearing 12 crops of fruit, yeilding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree keeps everyone bealthy. (Revelation 22:20)
-Only those whose names are written in the Lambs book of life can enter the city.
Is your name in the lamb's book of life, my friend? Why not make sure of it? Give your heart to Christ today if you have still not done so. Escape eternity in the lake of fire.
"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Chapter 8- Promises

Let's take a look at the many promises made to us by our beautiful Saviour.
Revelation 2:7,11, 17, 26 and 3: 5, 12, 21 speak of God's promises to those who overcome. But overcome what? Overcome the world and its sins(the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh ans the pride of life)!
But who can overcome the world? 1 John 5:4, 5 says, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.' "who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? Jesus himself set us as example as he overcame the world and sin when He lived in flesh on earth. John 16:33 records Jesus telling His disciples, "………….: I have overcome the world."
So it would be appropriate for us to follow in His footsteps and wait patiently for the promises made by Him to be fulfilled when the time comes.
In Revelation 2;7 we read, "He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spriti saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."
This is the same "Tree of life" that we read about in Genesis Ch: 3, which God did not want sinful man to eat of and live forever and thus placed it in charge of Cherubims (one class of angels) and a flaming sword that turned everyway. Man would have lived indefinitely if he ate of the tree of life but then he sinned and fell short of the Glory of God. Thus he could not eat of the tree then. But Jesus Christ; by His coming to earth in flesh; by His dying for our sins on the cross and by His resurrection changed everything.
In 2 Timothy 1:10 we read, "But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."
Revelation 22:1,2 speaks of where exactly the tree of life is situated. " And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb." "In the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yeilded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
The end of the 2nd verse speaks of leaves of the tree used for healing of antions. But there would be no death/pain/sorrow in the New Heaven and New Earth as we read in Revelation 21:4. Perhaps the leaves are for keeping everyone healthy forever.
In Revelation 2:11 we read, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Sprit saith unto the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."
The 2nd death is "The lake of fire," (Revelation 20;14) This is where every unbeliever ends finally: Whatsoever name is not found written in the book of life is finally cast into the lake of fire.
Verse 6 of Revelation 20 says, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."
Wonderful promise! Isn't it? None of us would like to miss this opportunity I guess.
Another promise is that of God giving the overcomer hidden manna and a white stone with a new name written on it. (Revelation 2:17)
In Revelation 2;26 God promises us power to rule over the nations if we overcome and remain faithful to Him till the end.
In Revelation 3:5 read, " He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life , but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."
White raiment signifies purity and righteousness here. If Jesus says that He will not blot out the name of the one who oversomes and remains faithful, it also means that He will surely blot out the name of the one who backslides and does not repent then.
That, names can be blotted out from the book of life is true. Jesus Himself says so and this we read in Revelation 22:19. "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city and from the things which are written in this book."
Blacksliders who repent will be reinstated in the book of life. Aaron's case was such.
When Moses was upon the mountain for 40 days, Aaron was in charge of all Israel.Seeing that Moses delayed in coming back, the people asked Aaron to make them gods who would lead them and thus was the golden calf created with all the gold that they had. God's anger burned against Israel and He told Moses who tried to atone for the sins of Aaron and Israel, "whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my booK." (Exodus 32: 33)
Until then Aaron was in God's favour and grace; now his name was blotted out of the book of life along with the others who sinned.
Later; upon much intercession by Moses and after atonement was made, God forgave Aaron. As we very well know Aaron was made high priest and continued thus for around 38 years. So he was in; out; and then again in the book of life.
Is your name in the Book of life? Stay in; by leaning on Jesus every day that you live. If your name has been blotted out; repent now and get your name resinstated in the book of life before it's too late. Escape the "Lake of fire."
In Revelation 3:12, 21 we read, "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."
"To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.'
More power; more authority for the overcomer and eternal stay with God in His holy city. What more could one ask for?

3 things to end this book with:

1. An open invitation from Christ to all "lost" to be saved
"And the spirit and the bride say, come. And let him that heareth say, come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." (Revelation 22:17)
2. " A word of caution from Christ to all " saved"
"Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown." (Revelation 3:11)
3. A "repeat call" from Christ to the "backslider"
"Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works…….. (Revelation 2:5)
